I had been wanting to try turning a laminate call for quite a while. I finally ordered a few pieces from Cousineau Wood Products. They had a pretty large assortment of color combos to choose from. I ordered 4 different colors and got a few pieces cut-drilled-prepped for the lathe over the weekend. My first run was "green mountain camo" with a green band.
I'll be finishing this one up today, this color is called "coffee" and I'll probably go with a black band on this one.
The stuff is super easy to work with. It cuts like butter and sands down really smooth.
