Update; I shot four arrows I had fletched with 'em a little the other day. Three of the four slid forward on the arrow shaft...a long way. I am done with 'em.

Uh oh. Me hopes, for the company's sake, that's not a common occurrence. Thanks for the update, Brock.

My main concern for the moment, taking my learning curve into consideration, is that I keep ripping fletchings... Im not sure if this is the result of hitting them with other arrows or possibly the whisker biscuit. Im sure as I get better, and with a nicer practice target, ill stop damaging arrows, but a quick fix would be nice until I can afford a jig and more parts.

I say get rid of the biscuit and get yourself a drop away rest if you want great arrow flight and no damage to your vanes.

Me too! They were on skinny lil Easton arrows, but dang. I would suspect a lil glue around the back would fix the issue. Dang shame, I really liked 'em. Fletching arrows now.

I just heard last night that the trick to them is to not put the whole wrap in the water, leave about 1/2" sticking out and let the steam seal it, and it will help with the sliding and air bubbles

I used the quickfletch's also...I've bought too many of them just since last summer...they don't hold up to anything...I do like the concept though just need to find ones with tougher vanes...I just bought a 6pack of the Bohning Blazer Shrink Fletch....If these don't perform then I will try AAE 2" Max Hunter Quick Fletch...if those don't perform then I will likely invest in the jig, clamps, glue and vanes...initial startup cost is more but will save money over the long run I figure....

When installing I like to go slow and let the part in water seal before I put more of the arrow in the water...airbubbles suck on these things and you will be replacing fletchings more often if you do a sloppy job.

Great tip rgecko!

Mine had no visible air bubbles. It was pretty chilly while I was shooting, and I was shooting fairly close (25 yds or so). I suspect the two things together caused the issue. I couldn't slide them with my hands...and I tried, but each time I shot, they slid a lil farther up. I'd post the pic to show the slide...but I can't get my pics to load here for whatever reason. Maybe I'll email it to Joe. :)

They did slide a lot! I had those four in a quiver and hadn't shot them. Busted the nock off one on the first round, had two of the remaining slide. I took it as a sign, stripped em and refletched. Dang shame, I like how easy they install.

My Dad has been shooting them for the past couple years. He has the realtree blazer shrink fletch. They are on carbon express 300's, and he has never had one slip. He shoots them through a whisker biscuit. I'm still stuck on feathers. I just like fletching up my own arrows, and you know that no matter how much you tear up feathers they shoot the same, for me anyways. lol
