I just need something to do. I get like this every year around this time. I don’t care if it never grows, I feel like I’m trying to help the deer. Makes me sleep at night and doesn’t cost me much. Spring and fall are always stupid busy for me between work and helping farmers. So I don’t get to do it during prime times.
I understand. I think I'm going to take my kids out and build natural ground blinds in many of the wood lots around here to have many more options for them to hunt next season. I waste a good amount of time trying different things for deer that don't help at all I'm trying to cut that shit out of my life. But staying active is better than nothing. Good luck with it.
Just saw that the record high for today is 66 degrees which was set in 1883. The predicted high today is 63. I wonder if there were any Chicken Littles causing panic back then.....

Winston Salem had some action, but so far so good around here.... 4” of rain is showing some need for some backhoe work around the place.

We are getting rocked down here today. Calling for 5 inches of rain and under tornado watch till 1700.
Same here, Salisbury just too our south had some action a little bit ago. Neighbor works down there and they been ducking and covering off and on at their shop.
