Talking about some very good snow accumulation for this week. I can't remember snow on gun week!
Just 2 years ago we got a big snow on the first afternoon of gun season. In fact it was 2 years ago today. I shot this buck in the middle of the snowstorm

I'm looking forward to hunting in the snow. The only part that sucks about it is they are showing winds around 30mph. That will make it tough.
Calling for up to 8 inches Monday with 16mph winds.....not gonna be pleasant but hopefully the deer will be moving.

We're getting snow here and 400 miles to the east in NJ my wife told me it was 65* today with thunderstorms. Crazy!

Roads aren’t too bad in Hocking and Vinton counties. Took my time and what normally takes 40 minutes took me about an hour. Only a couple of patches where the road (RT 93) was snow covered. We have to watch for the roads freezing up tonight on the drive back from the stand this evening.
My commute started slow. School canceled. Roads covered with some drifting. The further north I go the better conditions got. Not much snow here in Westerville.
Rare snowy gun hunt for those of us south of Ohio's Mason-Dixon line. Figured as wet and warm as it was yesterday, it wouldn't stick, but we got a solid 2" and it should last a couple of days. Gonna be sloppy this weekend though.

Weather forecast for tomorrow's all day sit with the bow. The wind will be from the East (from the thick pine bedding area and out into the picked cornfield) all day. I'm looking forward to it.
