Not a hurricane like Nick and Joe had to deal with but this tornado bullshit isn’t a joke. Southeastern Pennsylvania getting reports of multiple tornadoes. Flooding is also a problem. One report said a dam was overflowing and the flooding was catastrophic. Our home isn’t in a flood zone so I’m more concerned with high winds and the 100 foot trees around our place. Only have a couple more hours to worry until it passes by.

One of our stores in Philly are was hit by tornado this afternoon. Major damage. I am sure I will get multiple more reports in the morning. Sounds like we will have a lot of stores closed in Philly, Atlantic City areas.
Watching the local news outta Philly….rivers overflowing onto city streets, closing many highways. Aerial shots showing river banks extending a couple of blocks inland…crossing over highways, railroad tracks, etc. Kelly drive, Lincoln drive, Vine street expressway are all underwater. Flood stage for one river is 13’….record was 25’ set back in the 1800’s….It is expected to crest at 27’ today. I’ve never seen flooding like this in our area. Philly is basically a parking lot. This is crazy!

I expect today to be a very crazy busy day for me. I will spend most the day figuring out what stores are open and which ones are closed. Then trying to figure out how long they will be closed for. With all the flood damage I am guessing it will be a while for some.

Any updates, George?
News has been showing the damage the tornado did in Mullica Hill…it was a EF-3 with 150 mph winds. Around 3 dozen homes were completely destroyed and around 150 were damaged. The weather is great now…temps around 80 and low humidity. Philly still has roads flooded but is getting better. Unreal how many vehicles ended up under water.

Yup. Gonna mess the market up even more for used vehicles. I'm sure it will take a long time to reach "normal" again. The one that hit by @Dannmann801 a few years back can still be seen/felt when you travel through that area. Sad

Taking advantage of the random cool weather and doing a little bush hogging around the chicken coop/ house! Beats the bell out of Florida summer time weather that’s for sure
