We ended up with about 8 inches here at the house. Got home and walked to the barn to fire up the snow blower, 2 pulls and she fired right up. Was snow blowing in no time and had the driveway done in under an hour.
We had rain, and sun today. Like Spencie said, it's been flat ass miserable down here. It's an absolute slop hole every where you go. I haven't been anywhere on the farm since the big freeze at Christmas because it's kind of dangerous navigating our hills when things are this slimy. It'll be June before things dry out.
The following photos were taken in the direction of West-northwest, facing towards the moon, just before the sunrise this morning, except for the one attached photograph that's facing to the Southeast direction, towards the cabin, the fuel tank and the woods. By the time I reached my workshop form the short walk from the house, approximately 100", my face was burning from the bitter freezing north artic air. It was absolutely brutal this morning, ouch!
Jesus,,, I think hell frozeover last night...

I successfully screwed over our winter by buying a real nice snowblower this fall.

Could have been worse. We added a 27,000# wheel loader and 16' push box. Haven't invoiced 10hrs on it the entire winter.
Take a peek out to Thursday/Friday. Too early to make a call in my opinion. There is a shot at snow though. Better plow it fast. It will be melting throughout the day.
Plus he won’t have too buy as much salt next season!
Plus, no major equipment malfunctions. Nothing run over, no light poles knocked over. Landing on cars. Scattering buggies that would run over little old blind ladies, who’s seeing eyed dogs were badly injured and required a go fund me page. Where as peta found out about and started a boycott Phil’s businesses!!
So yeah! It’s been a good season so far!!!!!
