Just received a heavy burst about 10 minutes ago. We received 1" for today so far with the harder predicted stuff still on it's way.

Currenty, partly ⛅️ & soon perhaps, to be absolutely gorgeous for a little bit until the next one comes through in about an hour supposedly.
Big limb just came down from a tree 🌳 that I' ll be taking down this month, and current view of fog now and looks like the next wave of storms off in the distance.

Should be hopefully a decent night's rest tonight 😴 for me after this goes through.

Gotta helluva a front that came through, dropped 10 degrees and and wind came through followed by an inch of rain in 20 minutes…..
Had a couple trees snap off but nothing affecting our home or driveway, so ingress and egress is still good….
Had a dead ash tree that’s been a concern since we’ve moved here but it was one of those wannabe widow maker and I just was letting Mother Nature take its course….. Well today was the day, luckily it went down over the power line right away and nothing that we had to worry about…. Luckily this storm came out of the SW and pushed it the right way….
Weather news reported winds in excess of 80 mph…. Not sure we got that, but it wasn’t far from it with small hail mixed in….
@Clay Showalter batten down the hatches if you haven’t seen it yet…..

A little debris cleanup and another half inch of rain from the last wave that came through last night 🌙

Much cooler today and the deer 🦌 are ❤️ 'en it. Main feed site has been visited by deer all day since 4AM.

Yeah saw where there were about 24k people without power over in that area.
Hopefully no injuries happened with all that wind they reported….
Glad your place wasn’t affected….
Just saw that Raleigh has 80k without power as well….
