.3" is what was received yesterday evening, which didn't place a dent in what is needed. Creek is drying up completely at least a month early. I might have to cut up another 50 gallon plastic drum and then place them at the feed sites for water. No rain in sight either, dang...

We’re going to be getting some of the remnants of Florence over the next 3-4 days. Much needed if’n it doesn’t park over top of us and flood us out…..

Looks like some relief ahead next week. I overhead a conversation today that seemed well-informed. The gist being we'd need 53" of snow this winter to effectively reverse the effects of the drought. That's wild to think about as a southerner, but I'd gladly take it!
I believe it. We will see how this effects fawn numbers for next year and antler growth. I have never seen deer on corn piles like I have this year. It is crazy how long they are staying.
