I didn't venture outside until we hit 0 that was after noon. Had to get a bunch more wood inside as my wife and kids will be home for the 4th day in a row tomorrow. Apparently to many busses wouldn't start today and we r supposed to get 3-5inches of snow I guess. I do remember in school in the late 90s missing 2weeks in a row...my dishwasher line froze last night thats a first. Almost over.

Nice multi-day warmup coming. It'll be great to get rid of the inch of ice on the driveway. Great for hockey, not for getting to the mailbox.

These idiots...people these days need to have special stickers so we can see them easier! So damn irritated this morning. I have no idea how some of you guys do this city life thing.
Thats the easy part, they are driving cars. Easy to spot.

we got a solid 5+" here, maybe even 6". gotta put fucking boots on to get my curing salmon out to the garage before it freezes. I'm not shoveling this shit again since it'll be gone by sunday night. gonna be a long drive to ground zero for evening deer hunt today. looking out my front window just now, I saw a Bald Eagle behind my neighbors house sitting atop a dead tree preening. pretty cool.

Must be something about today. It took my an extra 45 to get to work today with two stand stills. Then had some dickhead going 15 yes 15 for 5 miles on a two lane with a string of traffic behind unable to pass. So I saw people going 65 to 15 today.

Slick's got the right idea today. to hell with going out and driving in this mess.

I was the only person to report to work outside of our grounds crew today. I enjoyed doing donuts and wearing Muck boots in the Administrative wing!

The craziest thing about this weather has been the lack of northerly winds for almost 2 weeks. My only option to hunt here at the house is set for a N wind. Nice to finally get that!
