Vortex and holoson fan myself. Going off of cogz reply, the replaceable battery while mounted is a huge convenience. Also don't get stuck on the motion activated train to much. The newer high quality dots have such a good battery life you can leave them on . Replace them every 6 months for peace of mind 👍
 
I like red dot sights, because there's no eye relief to be of concern, like there is with an optical scope. Vortex, Sightmark and Holosun are very good red dot sights. 😎
I had a Sightmark Ultra Sight on a Ruger Super Redhawk, but now it's on my Mossberg 500 Turkey Special. Never had any issues with it. 👍
I have a R.I.A. in 10mm and I have a Holosun 507c on it that works very well. 💯
