Redneck heads exploding all over the USA

I got one I will have to see if I can get a picture, guy down the road nailed 3 or 4 2x4's, put a pc of plywood up and mounted a 55 gallon white drum with the bottom cut out to shoot hoops.

Then you wouldn’t be getting a deal..... 😜

I remember in circa 2008 at the bottom of the recession when gas was 4.30 a gallon and you could get a brand new loaded truck from the big 3 for about 35k. Really makes it difficult not laugh at them when the MSRP stickers are 55-70k now.

Lol, now that's funny!!!

Man, scary to think that if both of those companies would tank that only Ram will be making a truck that can actually pull something. There is not a foreign manufacturer offering a product that can come anywhere close to our domestic 3/4 tons and up.

But, if they do merge, it's one step closer to my dream truck. Just need the Cummins as the power plant, backed by an ally, connected to ground thru a GM 14 bolt in Ford SD trim......mmmmmm mmm suck on that ya zipper heads!

O come on Adam.
The Tundra has more than proven its self in the truck market.

Jim u are correct, the light duty 1/2 ton section of the truck market. Apples to oranges. It's perfectly ok for the pavement pounding, grocery getting tasks but you won't find any on a job site with any reasonable size trailer or piece if equipment behind it.

Granted, the Tundra can tow the space shuttle as shown, but not legally😉. But, anyone who has a little grasp on the laws of physics knows it only requires the most energy to get a mass rolling. Once rolling a fiesta coulda stepped in.

A small skid steer puts the max capacity Tundra config. at it's limits. Nissan can't even come close # wise and Honda has no real truck offering in any segment.

Largely because the big three has lobbied for decades to keep foreign makers out of the light duty truck market. The post WWII 25% tariff on foreign light duty trucks called the "Chicken Tax" still exists.. There no doubt in anyone's mind, including the big three, that if foreign light duty trucks were allowed they'd be bankrupt tomorrow. We've created an environment of protectionism instead of innovation. Open it up and it would go the same way as the car and SUV market with Ford, GM and Dodge getting their asses kicked in every category.

Don't disagree with that at all Joe man, but until then.....

If ford and GM would fall too the wayside, you don’t think Toyota or Nissan wouldn’t step into that market? They’d be foolish not too.... Hell, even Honda would at that point ....
