How many guys are doing it primary for the money any more? Seems like most guys do it to kill yotes and stay busy. The money on the back end is just a nice perk.

Question, can you hold on to Em till next year in case the prices go up?
They are really tricky to hold over from one season to the next. You have to freeze them but you have to be super careful they don't freezer burn TOO.

Not many guys I know do it for the money any more. The prices have declined for the last couple of years so the money trappers are starting to get weeded out. I really do love doing it and by no means do it for the money, but it's still nice to get a little check.

Most of the guys doing it for a living live where they can get $400 for bobcats, $100 for coyotes, or lynx, wolverine, marten, etc. It's definitely not like the old days when you were getting $40 for a good coon.
