What’s everyone’s take on the rompala buck? Been listening to the deer hunter podcast series on mitchs so called world record. It is very interesting. After every Episode it makes you wonder if it could have been real or if it was fake. Just curious on your guys opinion.

Proofs in the pudding, if it’s real it needs too be brought out. Even if it was taken illegally, at least the stigma of the whole it’s fake would be put too rest….

His claim that he was pissed off at the Boone & crocket ? club is why he didn't get it scored, or something of that nature. I certainly wouldn't hold that type of grudge this long.

I've always felt the rack looked fake, even before I'd heard of the controversy. He's holding it very delicately which adds to the intrigue.

Yep. Blood coming from ears that are hanging ridiculously low. That deer definitely was fucked with. He was in shit with B&C for sketchy scoring with a few friends deer too.

I think it could be yes or no. I had read that he has killed several extremely impressive deer. It was also said that he was the type... once he was angry he would screw himself to get back at somebody, if that's what it took.
Either way...it created quite a stir!
