I am 5'5", 175#. Trying to decide if the large will work for me. My 22 year old daughter is 5'0" 93# and I'm upgrading her too...probably a youth version.
After my incident last year in my climber I now have my suspension relief strap attached to my harness. I always carried it with me and figured I could attach it if I ever needed it. I now think it's not as easy to do something like that in an emergency. It's one thing to do it on the ground in a relaxed atmosphere. It's another to do it in the dark hanging 20 feet off the ground. I just stuff it in my front pocket so it doesn't drag behind me.if you guys have an old harness, i suggest to strap one on and suspend yourself from one. its one thing to break teh fall, but the harness can and will hurt you. it will beat the alternative obviously but your nuts will thank you later. MAKE SURE YOU KNOW HOW TO USE YOUR SUSPENSION RELIEF STRAP!!!
I just ordered a HSS lifeline off the TOO amazon link. I plan on putting it on my millennium that's 25' up in the tree. I'll get a few more before next year so all my stands are equipped with lifelines.
I'll probably do that before next year. They sell 3 packs for $100. They occasionally put them on sale for $80. Pretty good deal for 3.
