Walbridge oh
Thats sucks! Hopefully the next round goes a lot better for you. I had a similar experience with a dryer from Home Depot a few years ago.

Buyer beware. Costco delivery was an abject failure today. I went out of my way to make it as easy as possible for whoever showed up. I took the front door off the hinges and the closers and brackets off of the storm door for them. Cleared the way from the door to the kitchen, too. None of which I had to do.

Three Hispanic boys in their early 20's roll up in a rented box truck. Two of them do not speak English. The one who does is addressing me as "boss" I fucking hate that shit and it rubs me the wrong way that they are babbling on to each other in Spanish in my house. They had to borrow tools from me, including a step stool, drill and driver bits. They could not figure out how to remove the door on the new refrigerator that has the water line in it. Seriously? My new fridge sat out in the rain in my driveway for an hour while they tried to figure it out. I tried to help a little to save myself the misery of having to relive this day again a week from now. No dice. I eventually told them to put my old one back in the house and put it back together, take the soaking wet new one away. I know things don't always go according to plan, but this was clearly not the "A" team. I'm assuming these are sub-contractors. The inconvenience to me in this situation is enormous, and I'm friggin' pissed about it.

Customer service called me a few minutes after they finally left to listen to me complain and get it ironed out. I was assured they would be sending a more "senior" team out next time. We'll see.
Damn! That sucks…. Ours went off without a hitch with our south of the boarder delivery fellas…. Hopefully their next attempt will go a whole helluva lot better!

I would joke and tease because that is what I like to do. Generally with poor timing. I'm sensing it may be too soon for that. I'll give you a hard time tomorrow. 😁

That does suck. Hope round two goes better.

Update. We had another (same model) refrigerator delivered on Wednesday. Per my conversation with customer service last week after the failed delivery, I felt pretty confident that all would be well. They kept me abreast of the shipping and delivery schedule. The delivery truck arrived in the window given, but it was not a more "senior" team. It was the same crew, well only two of three of them this time. I was not pleased but rolled with it. I made them take apart the new one before touching the old one this time. After that, it went ok. I did not help them any this time and they managed to get the old one out and the new one in without taking the front door off of the hinges or tearing up my walls or trim. I left the closers off of the storm door knowing another delivery was coming. We love the new refrigerator, and the old Samsung is quite an upgrade for a garage refrigerator, but...

On the first delivery I found 3 cigarette butts (this has been a pet peeve of mine for a very long time and I actually fired one of my painters for leaving butts in my customers yard after warning him about a dozen times and having a customer complain to me about it. How fucking lazy and disrespectful do you have to be to throw cigarette butts on the ground in somebody else's yard in the first place?) in my driveway and some small pieces of blue packing tape after they left and they had tracked some mud onto fairly new carpet on the stairs. None of them made any effort at all to wipe their feet any time running in and out. They also put the large freezer drawer on that same new carpet where the frost on it thawed and got the carpet wet. This time it did go a little better as we actually got our new refrigerator. They would not reassemble the old Samsung after moving it to the garage citing liability issue, so I had to put the doors back on it. That is bullshit and just plain cheap besides the fact that the top hinge locking pieces along with some screws were not left behind for me. I straight up asked the kid if he left ALL of the hardware for the Samsung and got a resounding "YES BOSS it's all there." The rest of my hardware is probably still in his pocket. I managed to get the doors back on without those things. It was blowing 30+mph and raining pretty hard when they were leaving. I'm glad I went outside to see them off as they almost got away without loading up the old fridge from the garage that they were supposed to take away. They got wet while loading it up even though it only took a couple of minutes. I found more cigarette butts in the driveway the next day. I'm glad it's done, but I will think twice about delivery from Costco in the future.

Glad it’s delivered and up and running. Too bad they sent the same BS crew to install it…. I’d leave a well placed review of their actions. Product is great, your delivery part sucks!
