Well that’s reassuring some. We both lost a bit of sleep over this matter last night. Still going to call, The Man(Andy Griffith) joke about Aunt Bees old freezer and ask some questions though.

You'll be fine, if not just call customer service and they’ll take care of it… It’s only ice, buddy!
Be thankful that life is going so good that ice is what keeps you guys awake.
BTW, we canceled the fridge and I’ll be picking up washer on Monday. Decided to wait till all or other appliances to start having issues then start replacing stuff. Their all SS GE profile and working pretty good after 16 years.
With the service life on appliances nowadays. Repairing the ones you have might be the best option. This new shit sucks. Call your local service guy and ask.
I also believe that most of your box store brands are all LG parts. Another question you might want to ask them.

Only issue I've had so far with my Samsung is the ice discharge freezing up and getting clogged. The ice even with it being in cubed and not crushed has a lot of small ice chips flying around when it's coming out. You get those small chips that thaw and refreezing builds up just inside the door and it finally gets clogged. Ended up having to dump hot water down the inside door chute to defrost it and get it opened back up. Wiped it all dry and it's been ok since. I've only had the fridge 2 years and that happened the 1st year we had it. No issues since thankfully.

Yeah, they replaced it back in July. They’re sending someone out on the 12th too replace it again…. We’ll see how long this one lasts….

You fuggers jinx'd me. She stopped working a few weeks ago, I just keep reseting it trying to get it to engage. I looked this morning, back in business. Now I've ran it out via the dispenser, waiting to see if she starts to refill.
