Scope Mount for Winchester model 94

Assuming its drilled and tapped, I've simply used a Weaver low profile base. Some guys like a "see through" which sits higher so you can peek under neath and use the iron sights too. Being that its a 44, I wouldn't use it out beyond 75-80 yards myself. After 100 yds, that 180-300 gr. round looses to much punch. (IMO)

No need for a high power scope.

After thought...
To those thinking of getting into a deer with some of the lever guns..

The reason the leverevoltion ammo is best is because of the soft polymer tip. Its safe to use in a tube feed gun, stacking "3" rounds, bullet tip to shell primer. Loading roundish nose type rounds could cause tip of 1 bullet to set off the primer in the one above. If the gun was (for example) sitting on a truck tail gate and fell off hitting the base of the shoulder stock on the ground, it could go off...

On the brighter side though. Its a solid deer killer at short ranges. A lot of fun to shoot. Off season I'll shoot 44 spe. at ground hogs an such.

I wish him the best of luck this season!
