She was a target doe at our buddies place.
This was after we got her all loaded up. Had to complete the story of her with a group pic. She gone!

We hunted last night and seen a bunch of deer. No real.shkts offered on anything of any size. All fawns.
This evening we had a BB come in minutes after getting in. Not even settled in yet. We had a shit wind for the set up but went anyways because Levi wanted to go. So we used the scent crusher closet for the first time this year and also carried the scent smoker in. Also the first time this year. I was getting the smoker going when that BB showed up.
That didn't work out and Levi was full of go. I was getting lissed because he wouldn't shut up or sit still. I seen more deer walking in and decided I wouldn't tell him. Let them surprised him and see if I get a.differemt reaction. This worked. Kid acted like pro. She was out a different window than we had set up for. Our buddy Josh was set on this window to do a double.
Josh looked at Levi and I knew what was about to happen. But I couldn't move. I was watching other deer and if I had moved, all the deer would've ran. So I sat and watched as he put his crossbow on the window and told Levi to take the wheel. She moved and told Levi to take the shot if he wanted. THWAK! THUD! And I jumped up to see her plowing away.
I quickly told Josh to shut up and reload. BIG buck at 45 yards. But it was nothing but tails running away.
After I got Levi in a chair and told him we needed to chill because a big was around, he looked at me and asked if I was alright. "Dad, you okay, you are shaking really bad" no son, I'm freaking out!
