Shooting my recurve

Been shooting alot the last week to get ready for turkey season and been kneeling down and shooting,also shot out of the treestand today and did really good out to about 28 yds.
Put a blind up Friday but may not use it much,would really like to shoot one out of the blind,i have a turkey fan blind and feel using it will give me a good chance to get a shot at gobbler.
It worked great yesterday when i took Josh one of our youth hunters out and he got a bird.
I would have been able to get a shot if i were bowhunting.
The 2 arrow pic was at 15 yds,the others were at 28 yds.
Sure do like shooting out of the stand,today i just picked out dandelions to shoot at.
Cant wait to get out and try for turkeys.
Also saw a buck still holding his right side at the pond today.
This is the fan blind we used yesterday that should help me get a bow shot if i can call one in close enough.
I will not use it to stalk birds,i will just work on calling one in and open it slowly to look like a gobbler going in strut,after yesterday i know it will work as we had 5 jakes,2 longbeards and 3 hens come in and when the jakes saw it they started trotting in with the longbeards right behind them with the hens.The nice thing is it opens and closes like an umbrella.
My blind setup is on a flat area the birds like to strut and their are several game trails that cut through it they travel on when they leave and enter a big cornfield.
Well got all my gear ready now just gotta wait till tomorrow to start hunting.

Still trying to get one with the Widow,have had several in but so far only one shot attempt and got some feathers.lol
He turned a little right when i released and grazed the front of him.
Have had several jakes in front of me and some longbeards other than the one i shot at but just out of my bow range.
Ended up building a couple homemade blinds,just dont like sitting in a real blind,hard to hear well and can only see in front.
Will keep after them till the end.

Man what a beautiful evening it was to shoot a little and watch for deer in the bean fields.
Lisa is my arrow puller when i shoot out of the stand which is nice.
We ended up seeing 15 deer and one yote.
Pretty nice evening and sunset.

It's the one I told you about last fall. The one with slight deflex. I wasn't happy with the factory serving. It was way out of position.
Was a nice evening to shoot,had some good groups at 20 yds and they open up quite a bit at 30.
I'm ready for bow season!

Been shooting a little more with this cooler weather,doing alot of my shooting now out of a treestand.
Pretty much ready for season just going to touch up some broadheads and make sure they are good and sharp.
But today when i went to shoot something had a heck of a time with the bag target.
Chewed the hell out of it.
Chad said it was my exploding broadheads.lol
I am figuring it most likely was a coon but who knows they really did a number on it.
