I agree, Except for when the animal is at a hard angle and the vitals shrink.. This is the reason I shoot arrows that are 9.5 gpi with small 100 GR fixed blade heads.. You will never hear me say, he just wouldn't turn, it was a bad angle, or He didn't give me a shot.. There is no sneaking nothing here.. If any part of the vitals are in the open. Then settle the pin and punch the hole..

Smaller groups come into play when shooting smaller heads at difficult angles.

For example... Would you shoot this deer?

focus on the exit wound that you want to produce and you will more than likely take the carcass home with you after you release the arrow.

I typically aim for the Texas Heart Shot while bow hunting so as to damage as litte meat as possible. I also group my arrows inside a quarter at 50 yards. I am awesome. :smiley_chicken:

I'm telling you dude, if I wasn't so worried about not killing a deer, I would love to try the ol' THS with the muzzleloader. :)
