Tonight's 40 yard group, no warm-up. Not bad, but still have plenty of room to improve! Been trying the Elite rubber grip, and just don't think I like it. Gonna give it another week, and then it is gone!

Nice Shootin' every one of them is a dead deer....

Its been killing me not to get in on this thread. I cant find my "shooting" glasses so i brought my safety glasses from work.
I can only shoot out to 30 yards at home so I decided to load up my target and head to a pasture where i can stretch it out to 40 yards.

This was my first attempt at that yardage.

After A bit my shoulder and arm started to get a little stiff so I decided to throw 5 arrows at it to see what I could get.

I held the one on the left to long waiting for a gust of wind to pass. My shoulder and bow arm were shaking by the time i let it go.

Before i called it a day i said "o.k., heres the situation, You are in stand, and that big 8 we've seen on cam shows up. He's standing broadside at 40 yards, You have one shot" (I know, I know... silly, but you get the idea)

Not to bad for my first attempt at 40 yards. need to practice more to tighten up that group though. As soon as I refletch the arrows I screwed up today.

I just had my bow "skeeterized" at Skeeter Creek recently and the new ProLine threads look great! The last time I shot was with JB the opening weekend of turkey season, so I was worried about sharing my first group until I realized my bow is straight up shooting lasers right now! I have to adjust my elevation about 5" at 20yards, but this was the first 3 arrows out of my bow today.

Thanks Milo for doing such a great job!!!

As soon as I get my new arrows from Milo I will be hitting the range again so I will have to post pics later lol.

Nice shooting so far fellas. I have a feeling some deer are going down in style again this year with those kind of shots this early lol.

The best thing I can think of to replicate it would be to do about 10 pushups as fast as you can, Hop up and try to take the shot. Great shot though, right in the pump station.

I think it's a skeeter Creek conspiracy.. Tune the bows so good you'll have to buy more arrows, knocks, and fletchings. lmao

I'm so out of shape, I dont think i will be "hoping up" after 10 pushups. come to think of it, I'm not sure I could DO 10 pushups.:smiley_brancard:
