No problem, pleasure is all mine. Part of my “reflecting” this year. Some things I need to change in order to capture moments and not be so selfish about. I want one of my walls in my future man cave to be nothing but pictures.
Was that one of them shriveled up nut sac bucks that still had velvet? Not the best quality but this is me and my dad with a deer I shot in 08. This thread makes me realize how few pictures I have with my dad hunting when compared to the fact that we use to hunt together all the time when I lived at home.
Yes it was haha. Best we could figure was he got them snagged up on a fence or something. Was that one of them shriveled up nut sac bucks that still had velvet?
This was from november 6th, 2009. That was another day that'll never be forgotten! We both filled our buck tags that morning. Lucky as shit! Great memory!

Took 5 years to hear the story[emoji23]
This is the last hunt me and my dad went on. 2010 Manitoba whitetail. He was 76yrs old then I think. Being from Pennsylvania dad shot few mature bucks, but some. He couldn't hold off on the first morning and shot this 10pt. Big body, nice buck, he was ecstatic with it, as I was. I heard him shoot and lucky for me, found him standing over it. Great times for sure. Last Thanksgiving we went home to celebrate with family. While there dad said he was done hunting. My brother, sister and me could divide his guns, bows, etc. He was 82. Wanna talk about a bittersweet moment!! Many tears shed that night, on the 8hr drive home, and once I was home and really thought about it. Mom and dad are still doing well and dad loves to hear about my brother and my adventures. Lots of memories with the old man. Many fine huntin stories to go along with them.
