My morning walk the other day I spotted acorn cuttings along the path that weren’t there the day before. Some color on a few branches up north this past weekend too.

Starting to see some trees going lime green...

What did you spy with your little eye anyways? Been bugging me for a week now.

It was a picture of my ash tree and a cluster of leaves that were a mixture of yellow, orange, and red.

Corn starting to show a little yellow at bottom of stalks.

Switched out my cards yesterday and the forest floor is starting to thin out!!

I’d say we are only a couple weeks out from the harvest starting around here.

Yep beans and corn are starting to turn, but it was a good dry spell up till a week ago. Acorns are starting to collect in the yard and mornings a little crisper the last few days. Won't be long!

At work I walk in the mornings down to a bike path that meanders through a chunk of woods loaded with oaks. As I was walking up along the woods I could hear acorns dropping like rain. The trail turns and goes into the woods and not far in I spot these two munching away on acorns.

Apples dropping in the yard. Not fit for human consumption but the wife and I gather them for the hunting property. It's good to be married to a woman who likes venison!
