Sleep Cycles and the Moon

A lot of sleep issues revolve around anxiety/worry. My brother had a treatment program that showed he was worried about "x" and he wasn't even aware of it. He took "x" head on and he sleeps like a baby. He used to sleep 4 hours a night on average.

He thought he was just wound and constantly "planning"....nope. He was subcon trying not to think about "x" that he would think of everything else under the stars to avoid it.

Made sense to me as I used to only sleep maybe 5 hours a night "thinking". Well I got some stuff straight the last three years and now I get 7-8 hours a night.

Just a thought.

Anxiety, Caffine, Alcohol, Tobacco are all contributors to sleep problems.

Get rid of a few of those above topics and see how you guys sleep.

I've never had any problems sleeping, thankfully... As soon as the head hits the pillow, this guy is out like a light. Hell, I could go to sleep right now if I really wanted to lol. I totally agree with working out in the morning, though. Any time I work out in the evening, I'm wired for at least a few hours.

Easier said than done. If I got rid of those it would probably be because they had me in a padded room with a straight jacket. Falling asleep is not my issue. Waking up is my issue. My body goes until there is zero energy left. Wherever I slow down for the night (or early morning) is where I get up in the morning. Sometimes it is in my truck seat. Sometimes it is on the floor. I have woke up in the bath tub, couch, recliner. chase, in front of the fire. . . you name it. Worst one was after 40+ hours of plowing. I woke up in the front seat of my regular cab truck. I was sitting up, window cracked, truck running, headlights on, and my dog asleep in the passenger seat. Stinking dog was suppose to wake me up after my alarm went off. Just glad the truck was in park. That 10min "nap" turned into 6hrs asleep sitting up in a running truck in a high end neighborhood. Good thing nobody called the cops. lmao

I haven't had a normal nights sleep in years. Now with the work I do, Its about 3-4 hrs then up then 2 hrs then another 2 hrs. 3 sleep times a day. All broken up. A week home almost gets me turned around then Hi Ho, Hi Ho...

Damn. I was just complaining to someone today that the last two days have been even worse for sleep. I would give anything for 8 hours of sleep. Living on about 5-6 for about the last year.. might get 8 hours on Sunday if I lay in bed for 11 hours..

Get a bottle of MELATONIN from the supplement isle at any grocery store and your problems will be solved. Take one and you fall asleep in 15 minutes or less. It works for me, at least, when I need help falling alseep.

Its not so much the moon for me as much as the seasons. I get insomnia in the spring and fall. My sleep schedule is normally about 9 PM to 3:30 AM. My alarm is set for 3:50 but I usually get up before it goes off. Even on weekends I cant sleep past 5:30

The melatonin works for me. Seems to work best if I take it while still up.....say 30 min before I want to go to bed. Then I fall asleep easier instead of thinking of dumb shit (and getting pissed off) while I'm waiting on the pill to work.

i'm starting to think it is just us deer hunters with this problem damn. Mine isn't as bad as some of you all, I just pop the Advil Pm 30 45 minutes before I go to bed and I'm good. But I hear you guys about the " thinking of dumb shit" when that happens it seems to go on and on. I try to fall asleep before the thinking kicks in.

Hey I hear Michael Jacksons doctor can hook you up with an I V and some propofol, but you might sleep too good.
