I have no complaints about my Rem 1100 20 gauge shooting sluggers. However i have picked up a 44 mag and 444 marlin and they will be suppressed. The 44 mag also allows me to run 44 specials for my son when he starts hunting for less recoil.

Yes very accurate, my buddy shoots ground hogs during the summer with his sometimes,

I'm really considering looking for a rifle chambered for .357/.38special so I can use same ammo for the revolver I already own.

Groundhog hunting with a slug gun=wrong tool for the job. Lol
I prefer my 45/70 it's more accurate, lighter than a shotgun, and points more naturally.

Kinda reminds me of something my uncle said one time when I shot a groundhog down on the farm with my dad's 7mm Mauser LOL! Said I made a mess of it.
