Do you have a picture of your flashing? I have some old flat sheet metal for duct work and planned to wrap it top to bottom and grease it.
So if you were buying a feeder for deer, what brand and model would it be?

coons are very resourceful. I think they stand on top of each other to reach it. Some of the bigger ones grab onto it from standing on their hind legs.

Nice! Must be a newer design due to complaints. Ours are older, prob 5-6 years. Couple 300#'s and 3 600#'s

We put up a Boss buck 600lb feeder on my buddy's farm this summer..so far so good..just put it in middle of property away from any stands. I would think if it's in the woods the squirrels would have fun with it.

I mounted 1/2 of a plastic 55 gallon drum upside down just under the banks feeder. Coons start up the pole and are contained. The sides are too slick for the coons to climb.
One of my feeders hang off of a telephone Pole. We wrapped the bottom in aluminum flashing and it's too slick for the coons to climb.

I run Banks feeders (300lb and 600lb) and have had them for 4 years without any issues. I like them and don’t regret my purchase or contemplate using another brand.
