Sourcing AR's...

When I bought my mfour 22 last night, the guy shows me a text from his dealer...

Keith: Ammo?
Dealer: HAHAHAHAHA!!!

:smiley_blackeye:

Cases (5000) of CCI blazer .22 lr are running close to $400 on gun broker. That's close to double. I bid $45 a brick on some Winchester Wildcats and was promptly out bid.

I made the trip to OVT in Athens today with a buddy of mine and they are well equipped. Left with 1K rounds of Federal .22, 100 rounds of AE .223, and 50 rounds of PMC 9mm. They had TONS of 9mm ammo and a solid supply of 5.56 and .223. If you need ammo and don't mind the drive, get your rear end down there and stock up! They had cases upon cases of .38, 7.62, and others as well...

I bought .223 for $17.99 a box. But they had 5.56 as well and had several boxes of it for cheaper. Can't remember how much, but $15 a box plus or minus a dollar...

I just picked up two boxes of 22 yesterday and had a case picked up today. They are stocked up

Glad to hear OTV has 9mm. I thought I could find some today in Parkersburg, but I was wrong!

HA. You ain't shitting man! Marietta Wally World had several boxes of Federal 9mm last night, but not much of anything else. I've been 5-6 different places looking for .22 and didn't find any until today. It's crazy out there right now!

I was shooting my 223 today. Got her sighted in nice. Tried tgis ammo i got at wal mart. Thinking steel, i could just use it to waste. My gun jammed every 2nd round and i had to basically force feed the first. Crap russian stuff. So i sold it.

Clean it first? Did you run it wet?

I ran it wet. Made sure we oiled it before i shot it. I put 2 clips of brass through it before i tried the steel. Maybe cause its not totally broke in? Maybe another 100 rds it wouldnt have been so bad, but I got fed up messing with it.

If anyone is still looking for one....I have a line on the SW M&P15 sport for $750 in stock here in Ohio right now.
