I drove the truck to within 15 yards of him. Even then I had to stop 3 times to rest. I parked the back of the truck in a hole so the tailgate would be lower for easier lifting. Still almost threw out my back dragging him in the bed. At one point his hindquarters were still out and I slipped backwards on the bed liner, I laid there and leg locked his neck so he couldn't slide out while I caught my breath.
