Spypoint cameras suck...

Put out a Spypoint camera last night... It's taken 25 pics of nothing... Sensitivity is on low and no branches in the way plus no wind... When I go get it I'll post pics of what a hammer will do to it....

Put those pics in a .gif maker or scroll through them to compare. Sometimes doing that helps you pinpoint the branch or perhaps critters that trigger them. Or it's a piece of junk running away taking pics LOL!

Any of the sub-250 dollar cameras will do this. Nature of the beast. It’s not exclusive to Spypoint. Sometimes I do wonder though if it’s programmed into the cameras to force you into buying unlimited data plans. Seems like my cams usually do this most often when I’m trying to get away with using just the 100-picture free data plan. lol

EXACTLY.... program them to use up free plan and since you already put effort and time into putting them out your gonna say f it and just buy a plan... This same camera did the same thing last year so I just bought a plan... Guess what??? It stopped taking random pics... I've been doing this long enough to make sure nothing is in front of camera to trigger it... Even tall grass....

I run Tactacam & Spypoint Micros. None of these issues have come my way.

Phil... Exactly.... I pay the premium plan and all of a sudden problem clears up...

After the bear turned the camera down I still got a bunch of bogus pics....So the 100 free pics are just about used up.... I'm gonna swap out camera tomorrow...

Damn shame. I've been fairly lucky with Spypointt, but it's a hit & miss with them. Last season, I bought the solar flex , just to try something different & that pos wouldn't cooperate. Barely took any pics & upon further inspection, quality control sucked. I sent it back.
