Spent last night at Stroud's, mostly on the lake and managed to do a little squirrel hunting. Acorns galore...everywhere...

I may try & get down on that Thursday afternoon beforehand. The squirrels sound awfully tempting.

I am hoping to make it down saturday just depends though my neice may be coming down from Martinsburg to hunt the family farm if so I will be out with her. If im able I will just sleep in my truck like woodbury and it would be nice to meet some of the guys that were not able to make woodbury.

Travis and I have our plans. During the walk where I shot that doe on a bench we continued to the top of the hill after the shot and jumped three more. Went another 150 yards down the ridge and spooked a couple more. Then over the other side and spooked even more still. Deer galore up on that ridge. I think we'll hang a double set. If they come close I'll get em with the bow. If not, Travis will let the muzzy bark.

I might have the last open all weekend slot filled for my cabin. Might be bringing a buddy with me but won't know until a little closer to time. That leaves for sure Saturday night open slot.
