Francis, hang in there...sooner or later you two will meet
Hoping this weekend again, just been going through what my next move should be, guess maybe let the cameras help decide. I should of took a picture of one the scrapes he made next to my mock scrape. Just a little bummer knowing if I had just sat that stand, good chance the chase could be over.

Well guys my little rut vacation starts Thurs evening thru Monday evening.... honestly dont have anything on cam that really gets me goin. One buck I'm on the fence about and depends on the mood I'm in and what he looks like on the hoof if he shows up!! Beats the hell outta work regardless.

You'll never know when a different buck will show up. It's the beginning of the bucks searching for that first doe!!! Good Luck!

I did a very little bit of walking behind my house today.
I ended up putting a cam up. We will see what happens. I might put another one up tomorrow looking at those 3 scrapes...we will see.

I knew my corn pile was just about empty...so I just got home from work and went and dumped another bag. Probably going to get up in the morning and do some observing...might have to tax the perp that's stealing from me.

That works, I might have to work Friday, so that puts a damper on checking cameras and clearing the stand that I wanted to hunt. Planned on hunting all day Saturday, so not sure if I should do a morning in one stand until late evening and slip over pull card trim couple branches I need and sit the afternoon.
I've gotta work all day Saturday...and my wife told me I have to do the yard on Sunday or she's gonna divorce my ass. I hope her next husband understands what happened.

Lol, I've told her that enough times that she tells me that now! I need to get leaves cleaned up and everything ready for winter. I also have to winterize my camper at some point and get it tarped. I'll most likely end up doing it on Sunday so I can get it out of the way. She has a surgery next Friday so I don't want her stressing or thinking she has to do it.

No luck for me yet. My brother brought my 8 yr old nephew over to tonite and they went to our buddy stand. Jake was able to take his second buck And first crossbow kill. Double lung and 60 yards death run.
