Got out this evening and was ready to let the arrow fly. Had a doe come in and could have shot her several times but she had twin fawns so I let her walk. One very lucky doe lol.

Same story for this mornings sit. Dang doe came in downwind and I just happened to look behind me and seen her there at 30 yards. Got all turned around and waited for her to hit the shooting lane. Then I see her single fawn come strolling along. DANG IT!
At least I'm seeing deer which can be a chore in its own out there most days. Beats being at work or at home. Glad to see some fawns survive the spring and summer. Had one on cam on 10/4 that still had spot so I now know of at least 4 little ones running around out there.

Lots of doe movement today, saw 2 small bucks and also heard one grunting cruising by at first light.
Other than that i think it's gonna start getting better in a few days.
A few pics from yesterday and today.
Got my lunch packed and will be back out tomorrow.

Cool stuff!! Couldn't make it out tonight, but will be tomorrow. 4 years ago, Thursday I killed my biggest buck on the property I'm headed to.

Hunted about 3-4 times there this year and Sunday was the first time seeing deer.

I'll be heading in with sticks and a hang on to set up based on their movement to feed and well used trails.

I'm next to their beds and will be awaiting a buck to check em out.......

Been seeing lots of does and a few small bucks last couple of days.Seems like the big guys are still moving mostly at night.
That should change soon.
Just sitting here in the rain this morning glassing the fields.
Will head to the stand when this rain moves out.
Ha! Climbed up to my stand yesterday morning and their was a big raccoon sitting on it,he didn't want to leave so when he turned i kicked him in the ass and he landed on a tree across from me,the fugger didn't climb down till 9am.Prob still scratching his head.lol

Lol. Damn coon anyway. Sounds like your in the wheelhouse Brian. Just keep those doe happy and they will bring those big boys to you in a couple weeks.

Ended up seeing 2 doe and a small buck last night. The 2 lone doe stayes just out of range. The buck was just a small 6pt that's following his nose and not sure what he is supposed to to be doing lol. Still a good sit. Going to try and get out this evening but I don't know if it will happen or not.
