My season has been a bust so far, lately it seems like i have a small buck magnet attached to me. I hate hunting on a full moon, not real optimistic about my prospects.

My season has been good with sightings on bucks 100" and below... saw 8 bucks and 2 does on Sunday. the only shooter I had was at 5yds, 5 minutes after shooting light and it was too dark. Hunting all day Saturday and Sunday so we'll see what happens.

Was out all weekend, lots of deer Sunday morning but no chasing from what I've seen in my area. One of the guys that lives on the property that I work at and got permission to hunt is calling or texting me almost daily saying he is seeing bucks. Saw 4 does there when I got to work this morning and then a small 6 point in the afternoon, vacation starts Friday, I'm counting down the minutes!

I passed up a nice 8 point this morning. Had shots as close as 15 yards. Just not what I'm looking for. His doe is was in heat...

Dang JD! That boy is a stud! You thinking he's gonna be able to put on more come next year? It doesn't look like he's too old.

I say 4 Joe says 3...lol

Had a 130 inch short tined ten walk under me at first light and that was it for four hours. Froze to death in that stand...lol

Saw a spike a small six and 7 does but nothing since 9:30. Makes for a tough all day sit...

I saw three little bucks this morning. At first light my girlfriend texted me and said there was a monster behind her blind. She sent me a picture of a 160 class 10 point she pulled off the internet and said it was like that but with thicker tines...so needless to say that's the guy I would like to see tonight!

Killed a buck tonight, hope everyone else has a successful season.

Got mine boys. Probly not as big as what you fellas are after but he was a great buck for me. He came down a hill on nov 29th grunting at some does. Also got a stalk on a nice doe after the first big snow here in summit county.

nice good work guys! I've been slacking this year, letting more walk than I should have and I'm double guessing myself now. Especially since I don't have permission to gun hunt my prop, and a buncha other guys do :smiley_blackeye:

I feel like busting a nice doe for the freezer, maybe over muzzy weekend.

I'm spending the rest of this season after this one buck. I had the flu real bad all day yesterday and he showed up at 5:45. He's been to this pile 4 out of 6 nights this week so far in shooting light or shortly after. Wind will be perfect tonight...

Dang good luck JD! I'm hitting it up tomorrow morning. Month of January is gonna be hunted hard. I'm hoping this year doesn't turn into tag soup. Been a while since that happened...
