I'm thinking I'll try to wack a doe by seasons end. That'll count for something more? I always like to harvest one off our land every year and haven't done that yet this year. More fresh meats!

Hell ya Gordo. Good job man. Dave I feel for you man. I know how it is to be this late in the season and not have a deer tagged. Ive been there. Like you said earlier its not all about tagging a deer. Keep the faith guys. Good luck out there.

I’m not real worried about it. Hell, I’ve been off work for a month now and I’ve only gone out about 10 times. Fighting a cold right now or I would’ve been out the last couple days. Love this weather!

Doubt I'll wack a doe, but my buck should fetch us some points. Gotta enter him. Going to Euro mount him in the next couple days and will measure him up and submit.

I have been trying to get out but the damn southerly winds are a no go for behind the house. Last night I had a good wind and watched 10 does feed out back 20 yards from the blind. TOO bad the wife had to work late, so me and my daughters watched them from the loft. Only day I can sneak back with the wind will be tomorrow evening. Southerly winds Saturday and Sunday it looks like. It's not over yet!
