Well dang! Nice bird!

We set up this morning and had a few birds gobbling off the roost, but in a completely different spot than we were expecting. They again were silent off as soon as they flew down. We would have been in a good position for that if they roosted in their normal spot, but with that thrown in with some yahoo's calling against us (WHO WERE AWFUL! If you only have a box call and 1 "set" of calling - STFU!), nothing happened. We hit another property and couldn't get anything going. Beautiful morning to be out, but no birds cooperating.

I just hope I'm able to contribute in some points for our team. I plan on going in the next two mornings if I can either stay awake or get up on 2 hours sleep. I'll be out Thursday AM for sure but iffy on going in a few hours. Lol

My thumb won out this morning. Thought best of it that I get up at 8 this morning and call the Drs office and schedule an appointment this morning and check for infection and get a tetanus shot. Then swing by Jiffy Lube and get my oil changed and mow the lawn this afternoon.

I'm off work tonight so I will be setting up tomorrow morning till noon hoping to lay a big bird low and score some more points for our team.

Got myself some drugs and the shot and got a shitload of work done around the house. Grillin' and swillin' right now with some pork loin and chicken breasts on the grill. Pic will be on the "what's for dinner" thread. Lol

Well teammates its the end of another turkey season. Congrats to my TOOmates on taking some dang nice birds. I wish I could have contributed but it was not due to the lack of trying.lol
