Thanks Mike. Debating whether to give it a light shot of triple 12 fertilizer or not. It is doing pretty well on its own. I just want to make sure it gets established well before the dry season. I don't think there is a wrong answer either way. Fert or no fert, I think it will be alright.

That's a great shade of green. I hope your clover gets enough sunlight and water under those trees. Nice!
I ended up hitting the clover with some triple twelve. Don't remember when exactly but it has been several weeks. Here are pictures from May 19 and June 12. It isn't doing a ton but it is filling out. I will take it.

Mowed down my clover in the open sunlight area. It is probably 1/3 clover and 2/3 grasses. Not sure about this one. I am afraid the grass is going to win. Might just have to do my best to spot spray grass areas and drop seed clover as we move into fall. Then I can overseed with clover again.

No. I didn't spray it first. The pictures you see in the woods were sprayed several times. The area I mentioned with grasses was only partially sprayed and only one time.
Here are some updated pictures. July 4th I got over to the property and swapped the card. Pleasant pictures of the clover. Unpleasant pictures of trespassers. This is getting old. I think these are getting posted on FB so maybe the locals can help me ID them.

I would guess they are. I don't live there. Just have a building there and trees planted with woods behind all that.

I would knock on neighbors doors and say look if you know these punks here is the warning next time its the sheriff that's going too be knocking it has too be neighbors. I had the same problem and come too find out they were raising dope on my hunting plot that was just a acre plot at my parent's 4 acre thicket. It was neighbor kids I waited them out with my pistol and coon hunting light one night, lol you should've seen their faces when the spot light hit them and pistol pointed at them. Never had trouble since.
I don't think they are growing any or I would have noticed fresh turned dirt. I haven't seen any fresh dirt with funny looking plants. If anything I would suspect they are smoking it or the guy/girl back there making out or something.
If it is just kids wandering thru on occasion I can deal with it. The big issue I have is with the fact I shoot there. I have my range set up and while I have taken measures to ensure there is a safe backstop. . . . accidents "can" happen. I know my one neighbor guy shoots there and I have had a couple friends shooting there in the past. While I run my range like a military range, I cannot be certain others would do the same. Just don't want to see anyone get hurt.

Yea Phil that is what the real problem is somebody getting hurt or shot . And Jesse I did tell a few buddies about the plants and they did come up missing lol. And by the way Phil the plot looks great too.
Yep. I can tolerate some kids on occasion. Lord knows we rode our bikes all over the place as kids. I jump on a quad and do a lap around the woods before I shoot. Not sure if my neighbor does when he uses the range. Highly doubt it. I built it up as high as I could with a backhoe and there is over 2000' of woods behind backstop. Doesn't mean the kids wouldn't be wondering around 20yds behind backstop though.

Probably a tenth of an acre at the absolute most but it is better than nothing. It does one thing. Prior to planting the deer entered the woods wherever they wanted to. Now they tend to enter close to the clover. Mission accomplished.
