I had picked out this hunting sticker that was in the box way back & I finally got it applied TOOday. Thanks again to whomever sent it !

When I moved to Kent after college to work for Sherwin-Williams, I ended up training in Wadsworth. While I was there, I worked with a couple people who were fascinated by the fact that I deer hunted. At the time I was ALL consumed with it TOO! Shortly after moving to my home store in Lakeside, I was dubbed "Deer Slayer" by the assistant manager I was brought in to replace. It stuck and I eventually got a vanity plate for my Jeep that read "DERSLYR". I bought that sticker to go with the theme for the Jeep and never got around to it putting it on.

Box came in this morning. Man you guys stuffed a lot of stuff in to it! It's got everything from food, fishing tackle, bow tackle, hunting gear and a few items I'll need to hide before the kids get home. The RNPP is classic. Heck it even has some toilet paper. Well the Steelers and Michigan hats are only good for wiping your arse so that's close enough. :smiley_bril:
Today is the last day of school so the boys will be home around noon. I'll let them pick through it and then pack it up to send back to the Midwest this week.

Not really a story other than we often find pieces of it in the stream in the......Big Holla......on our property down there. I've been finding that stuff since I was a kid, same for my dad and now my kids.
How come nobody wants that evercalm shit that I threw in? I've never used it in one of those hangers but I figured it wouldn't last long in the box. And burn that michigan hat.

Here is what I'm keeping. The knife my 14 year old wanted. He loves old knives and collects them. He also took the camo cellphone holder. My 12 year old stepson took the bag of soft plastics. He's the fisherman in the house. My 17 year old son was headed out the door to see his girlfriend so he couldn't care less. (I think he's ruttin' right now). I'm keeping the game bag, scent drag, 2 can coolies, Big Holla's piece of petrified wood and the SECO hat. Still don't know what SECO is but I like the hat.

I told the boys if they were taking stuff they needed to add stuff to the box TOO. they put in a Browning hat, mini flashlight, NH hunting digest, NH Wildlife Harvest summary, rally towels from our high school & local minor league baseball team, filet knife and Cabelas Big Game Hunter Wii game. The orange plastic gun goes with the game.

I added Jim Dougherty 's Guide to Bowhunting book, 2 NH license plates, an old rifle cleaning kit, a Wicked Willie book (funny stuff), 2 NH Milf hunting permits (in case any of you guys make it out this way), a poncho in a sack, 4 Tinks scent bombs, HS fresh earth scent wafers, Red Sox camo hat and a Boston Celtics shirt. Little humor, some hunting gear and some stuff with local flavor. Thanks for letting me join in and I'll have this off to Chuck in Michigan today or tomorrow.
