Ok we are getting close to buying a camper, any brands you guys really like or more importantly any brands you have had issues with ?

They all suck, find the layout that works for you, then see who makes it and go check them out. They wham bam than ya man when they assemble. Jayco typically has industry best warranty and initial quality. If you want a true 4 seasons, there are a few our on the West coast. We went too that RV show in Greensboro last month….. I walked away with the impression that they are cheaply made and over priced…. Mlst of the models were 22 and priced slashed…. But that was still overpriced to most looking at them….

Bit the bullet and found a used intech sol horizon camper. One owner, been kept inside always, great shape, perfect for towing behind the jeep and will just be the wife and I most of the time. Lots of extras

Son had a soccer tournament 1.5 hours from home, found a campground 1.5 miles from the fields so we took the camper for a shakedown run. Camper towed great, setup was easy and room for 4 of us.

I'll be dewinterizing and cleaning ours up tomorrow, then time to restock foe the upcoming season. It's happening!!

Clay, why bags over a WDH? Don't ya take it offroading? Any issues if ya disconnent sway bars and really give her a good stretch?

I got ours unwinterized, warming up, and water system disinfected. Just need to clean, make beds, and pack up the inside. Gonna give the bearing a few pumps of fresh grease too.

I have a WDH, I been told air bags help since the jeep is a shorter wheelbase and lifted with bigger tires. The bags go inside the coil springs so when not inflated they just float in the coils and don't affect suspension travel.
