Are you draining your black water first and then flushing it out with the grey water? Just wondering the need to rinse the hose afterwards.
Ever have to double flush a turd?

Even then i like to rinse out the hose. I have yet to come across a dump station that had a sprayer attached. I just use it wide open to flush then my thumb to break up the stream if needing to wash down the pit.
No doubt. I always try to rinse it out as well. Black water. Grey water. Rinse. We don't camp as often as these guys are. Those stinky, lingering turds will be in the hose a long time if I don't get it all cleaned out well.
Yep i've been going as far as black, grey, rinse, then run water in both tanks and repeat. I also have a black tank flush, garden hose hookup on the opposite side of the camper that will flush water throughout the black tank.
I use one in the middle of the park. There are 3 more dump stations at the exit and none of them have sprayers now that I'm thinking about it. I had thought they just hadn't gotten around to putting them on yet but maybe that's the norm lol.
I typically see them with the end cut off, just a raw hose
LOL, u're not right Dustin.
Have a fun/safe weekend if you boys are hitting the road. My wife and boys are already at the site, I'm heading over after work for a long 3-day weekend. Looking forward to wetting a line with the oldest 2, sitting around a fire, watching the sun rise with my coffee black, and popping the top on many a barley pops. Cheers :smiley_cheers:
Have fun Adam! We are heading out in the morning. Took Monday off of work so we are making a 3 nighter out of it. Calling excellent weather as of now!
Ya buddy, you too. Loved watching the weather improve throughout the week. Where ya heading?
Back down to Indian Lake State Park this weekend. My wife is a teacher and has her graduation tomorrow evening, so we are sticking close and the boys and I will hang out a the camper and she can still get down there afterwards.
Any of you guys have a portable water tank setup? We are doing 5 nights next weekend and later in the summer going to do a week maybe more. I know after more than 4 days we are going to be running low on water. No potable water stations close enough to run hose to, I can always hook back up and run up and refill, but a portable setup would be nice.
I'm thinking something like this w/ a 3/4" outlet: http://www.tanksforless.com/p/1005/...8LG7gQ-pX22Ja-22UoTlvYTS3jt5WGv6DXRoCY9jw_wcB
I think that this with a 12V utility pump would do the trick. Anyone have or seen a similar setup that may have advice, do's, don'ts?
