He ain't bothering me. I know he was looking at one himself. This is season 14 for us. I didn't see this coming this soon. I figured I had until the kids left the nest. I was wrong.

I didn't miss the opportunity to sieze the moment after being stimulated by Grandpa Joe and the wife saying she would like to get back in a camper sooner than later. I could see the look in her eyes as we scheduled a trip this summer and the discussion started on which site type, given we would be in a tent.

Water no workie. Guessing the hose to the camper, should be thawed out this afternoon.

Dude, didnt you just post about temps and winterizing? Why in the hell did you leave it hooked up to city H2O? Did you leave it turned on too? If yes, then you may need to do some more in depth freeze investigation since that frozen water would have only expanded into the camper. Wishing you luck.

Grabbing ours from the farm and bringing it back home to completely dewinterize in preparation for Paint Creek. I took advantage of this new deal I have with Chase where I earn points with Amazon on certain purchases and solved one problem I saw last year and that was moving the TV outside for movie night and football games. We ran the podcast with Isaac off my phone hotspot, so I should be able to stream to this TV. Kids can watch a movie, parents enjoy the fire with no kids! It'll reside in my workshop when not in use 😎

It was a legit disassembly of the little one that came with it to move it out and watch the Buckeyes last fall. These TVs are super reasonable, especially for my $75 actually out of pocket cost. The camper will stay at the farm in the fall so I have a "camp" during hunting season. Early AM bowhunts, Buckeye football over lunch, hit the stand in the evening. That's the life!

The '15 Hideout movable TV design wasnt bad, just lift and remove and take outside.....BUT when the outside wall bracket is placed 1" to low like it was, it barely sat safely. I hated that thing lol.

Had to take one in stride today. 3pm was our PDI and pickup of camper. The bad feeling set in when the youngest on the service team walked out and introduced himself.

We proceed with the outside walk around until we hit fresh water tank fill. I asked him to grab the hose so it can fill and we continue with our walk. 30 secs in and water is dripping out of the bottom. Long story short someone didn't reconnect the inlet hose from tank to pump aftwr winterizing, so I would guess 5-10gal pumped inside under the back bunk, above deck. I killed the water and raised the nose to keep it isolated to the back. Not a huge deal, but an easy and bad miss.

Next up the black tank valve was hard for him to pull open, and then it wouldn't shut. He dicks with it for a few mins and I ask him to just swap it out for a new one. The seal on the groove inside was clearly cut, come on man.

While he dicks with that, I asked for another tech to come out and keep doing the inspection. We get inside and main window curtain bottom is all bent and doesn't fully close. Now I'm just shaking my head....

I told him I'd be back to pick it up another day and proceed to round up the boys. He went and grabbed the owner. I introduced myself explained the unit is not saleable and his team failed to go thru the unit head to toe, unacceptable for a brand new unit not even off the lot......fucking stealerships!

But, I was proud of my restraint and I was able to just walk away laughing. New or used, they all have issues!

It is amazing to me the change in service across the board. It wasn’t too many years ago that when you purchased a large ticket item they actually made sure you had a smooth delivery.
