One of the few things I will miss about working in the patch after I retire are the random things you see over all the miles I drive...
I can only imagine how this conversation went...

That's funny!! That was my mom's favorite saying to my dad for years before they divorced. It was more because of some promises he had made and wasn't able to keep back in the day. Well I hope that is what it was really about LOL!
My buddy couldn’t understand why his air conditioner was not working...

Over 20 deer seen on the backroads tonight, including 10 Kaydence shooters and 4 daddy shooters. Damn fine eve
4 solid bucks, one shooter. He's a 140" 10 with a flyer off his left G2. Hoping to see him this fall.

FINALLY! Something I can post about back roads here in guernsey. Headed up to the store tonight to grab beer! BOOM! The notorious meth house on the block, up in flames! Good riddance. And good night. No livestock or humans hurt in the fire. One of the guys was passed out in a single wide about thirty feet away from the fire, didn’t even know the other trailer was on fire I’m told…. Goodnight TOOville! #dontsmokemeth

First sighting I've ever had on an eagle this far inland. Our local lake is a good ways from the river, which is where we typically see these guys. I drive around the lake at least once a week just to see what's going on and today I got a cool surprise to say the least!
Upon my returning home today, as I was getting closer to our road, I seen tons of smoke in the air, which concerned me, thinking that there might have been a plane crash, since I live right next to the county airport. Well, it turned out to be a controlled field fire instead, thank goodness. Apparently, one of the CRP fields is being cleaned up at the end of our back road, which is also at the end of the airport runway.
