How I know….17 years ago (2008) my wife hit a 9 year old female pedestrian J-walking across Main Street (25 mph zone). The kid just bounced off her car and was taken to the hospital for precaution. My wife’s SUV unscathed without a scratch. Because there was an accident report on the vehicle Honda lease company depreciated it $4k upon lease turn-in. Needless to say the $4k came out of my bank account. Lesson learned. Make sure the insurance company covers the current depreciation value. Though the police cited the kid she was permitted to sue our insurance company up to the age of 18. That never happened but we had to sleep with that on our minds for 9 years.
No to both, everything runs and drives fine, except for the pin hole leak in the left radiator
Tough to guess on 2 pictures. But im going to guess it cost you your $500 deductible.

Son hit a nice fat fork horn a while back on I-79. He has camera's and it came out of the median at dusk. Less than a second to react. $13,500 later his Outback looks good again.
We got my bride a late model Lexus RX 350 and with one payment made she backed out of the garage with the hatch open. Moved about 2 feet and just caught the top of the door frame. She tore up some frame covering and trim on the garage, but the plastic on the back of that lift gate broke like a thousand cheap plastic combs... $5,800 dollars!
One month later we are driving alone route 62 between Tionesta Pa and Warren Pa along the Allegheny river road and a hawk flies down low across the road and BAM, she hits it with the left front of the vehicle... 2 payments in and 2 events! I can't take this stress so I paid it off! No damage to the vehicle just knocked the crap out of that hawk.
Look at the picture below and you can see the white bird paint...
We turned around to see what she hit and there laid the hawk in the other lane on it's back. we then turned around again to resume our journey and the hawk was standing up with its wins out and down. As we went by it actually flew off! I know my wife was going about 50 mph. That hawk amazes me!

Insurance adjuster wrote the estimate for $5,526.75, body shop guy said he was missing a sensor so it will be a little more plus if they find any other issues
