All this talk about meat and how much it costs and blah, blah, blah. I just put my buck in the freezer. He provided 45 pounds of ground meat, 10 pounds of steaks, about 6' worth of backstrap and a beautiful pack of inner loins. $75 for processing and $10 for the slug and gas to drop him off. Roughly 62 pounds of meat costing $1.37 a pound.

Go buy red meat at the store for $1.37 a pound and tell me what quality you get, if you can even find it that cheap...
This made me laugh. Don't play that game today!

Appreciate all the kind words fellas. I really enjoy taking photos and sharing a story. Good stories are so fulfilling and enriching. That's why I love this place so much. You all share so many great stories and it really makes life more enjoyable. Thank you for being good listeners and for being so willing to share with us when you have a great story on hand!

I put this on FB, but didn't post it here yet. I thought this was hilarious when I looked down!

Not to mention it reminded me of the John Deere logo and that's seemed fitting considering how he rode out of there...

Just for you @giles 😂
