I could not stand it and called the taxidermist explaining he was my first and I just couldn't stand it any more. He laughed and said I had done fine and did better than most "first mount timers", that he was just putting the finishing touches on him. I can pick him up this Sunday! I know he's no Boone/Crockett but the fact of my story leading up to him has me finally looking forward to something good.

Yup. Killed my share of bucks and does and never a monster. Chased a few local trophies and every year I did, I ate tag soup but this one is very special.
