thoughts on the up coming muzzleload season

OhioSam and I were out from 8:00 to end of legal shooting time with an hour break for lunch/warmup lol.... Moved some deer but no shots offered.... One deer was taken in 4 days of driving.... Decent number of deer moved just not great shot opportunities....
 
I saw 2 bucks and a doe at 5;05 on Sunday evening, the only deer all day and then yesterday I saw 2 does and a buck at 8;30 and 4 does and a buck at 1pm. I called it a season at 2pm and packed everything up and headed home.

My worst part was I missed a coyote yesterday at 170 yds, it was a very quick now or never just as he was going into the woods, he stopped for just a second, but it should have been an fairly easy shot. Still not happy about my YANKING:D the trigger.

Very difficult weather for both gun season and the MZ season, I'll bet the harvest is down:D:D:D

Thanks guys. I blew her heart out. I had a lot of fun driving deer. I'd never done it before and the group of guys I was with were great. The area we were hunting has a healthy population. I think this is partially due to the coyote hunters, they kill a great deal of yotes every winter.

Heck yea they do. That was awesome watching her drop a few feet in front of me. That spot you were at is just a spot that is guaranteed to get a shot at 1. Hope your blisters healed up. Didn't know if we were gonna have to carry you out:smiley_brancard:

Thanks a lot Ryan. I had a great time. The blisters are not as bad as I thought so I should have carried on.
