To cold to bowfish? Think again !

Jbrown had been telling me about a warm water dischargthat loads up with fish . I went to investigate last weekend and shot about 20 goldfish and 8 carp . A couple buddies and I went back yesterday and shot 29 goldfish 18 carp , and a bowfin . As well as uncountable number of shad

Various things. Sometimes I give em away for trapping bait. I gave some to a dark skinned guy to eat . I sometimes dump em in farmers fields, sometimes i put em in the woods behind my house . I wish Ohio would let us shoot good eating fish. But unfortunately they limit us to rough fish. Although gar are awesome x but we rarely shoot large enuf gar in Ohio I. I am gonna try cleaning some bowfins this spring .

Anyone know if the hot waters in Lorain is still accessible to fishing? My father remarks all the time how he would spend days there fishing as a youth. I was a short walk from his house. I was last there 20 years for a road trip fishing trip. Mainly carp and smallies.
