Saw three doe this morning with the wife. Afternoon hunt had me in a climber in Ashland County seeing four does that I thought I was going to get a shot on. When they where in an open lane they where quartering to, when they where broadside I had sapplings in the way. I got a feeling I am going to be eating my antlerless tag. :smiley_boos:

Went out Friday evening and had a bright white racked 6 pointer come in. He was within 30 yards but stayed above our set up and never gave us a clear shot.
Right after him a 3 point came in and fed right in front of us for about 15 minutes.

I'm still at it. Shot a big doe Saturday pm. Had two different deer sniff my gear rope!:smiley_clap:

Still need to fill my buck tag.....I think I'm done shooting does for the year.

I'm still at it too. Dad and I sat on opposite ends of a winter wheat field last night. I saw 7 does, a button buck, an a small 6. My dad saw 4 small bucks and 4 does. I think Im going to try there again tonight, hopefully some mature bucks will start showing up in daylight.

First time out in almost three weeks. Went and sat in the blind. Saw two turkeys and two deerz. One was a small 8 and the other was either a doe or a button buck. Really couldn't tell because the doe/button was following the 8 point around, the 8 point wasn't bothering the other one.

Was out Sat. Morning and didn't get a chance to log it. Saw one doe at about 100 yds. from the stand. Moved some setups around to try and get some surprise attacks in.

Hunted this evening. Saw 5 doe, only two little ones in range. I got to try out my Timberfleece 360 outfit for the first time. Big fan. It was 15 degrees and I layered UA cold gear, another base layer, pair or wool pants and UA hoodie underneath. Upper body got a bit chilled after 90 mins, but was fine for the two and a half hours I sat. Next time I will probably switch the 2nd base layer top for a heavier fleece top when the temps are this low.

Stats are as follows:

Number of hunts: 42
Total hours: 177.25
Avg length of hunt: 4.22
Number of doe: 71
Number of bucks: 23
Avg deer per hunt: 1.86
Avg deer per hour: .44

Sat in the cold for the last 2 hous tonight. 5 doe and 2 bucks. They started heading my way from 70 yards out but as I pivoted in the stand some snow/ice on the platform made a nice pop and that was that. They didn't flip out or take off, just slowly worked passed instead of coming in. Temp on the truck when I was leaving was 2!

Maybe next weekend.

Went out tonight and climbed in the stand around 4.. At about 5:20 I had three bucks I call "The three Stooges" come in. I'm surprised they made it through the gun seasons as dumb as they are. Anyway they worked through about 20 yards and then walked on down a ditch line. With my buck tag in my pocket burning a hole i really had to sit on my hands not to loose an arrow at the one i call Curly.. He's the one on the left with a crazy rack.. He just has three points on each side like a tripple beam spike. :smiley_crocodile: And dude is a retard... Seriously i think he's mentally challenged. Just watching him makes me laugh.. Actually All three of them are idiots.. The Larry in the middle isn't too smart himself.. Anyway there all young and need to go on a couple more years.

Case in Point.... Larry Eating an apple.. Maybe he should try chewing instead of swallowing them whole.

Guys.. A little help... I'm Choking...

Seriously guys... I'm gonna die...
