That’s what I used and it burned the cucumbers. Looking at that pic I posted, looks like she’s trying it on the beans this year.

We’ll see. Cukes grew decent last year on it. If not, next year I’ll switch it out. Every year has its challenges somewhere in the garden but we all still try.

Ya not arguing the point, just thought back through the years on the different materials and ppl and stuff. Wood is still my preference, it just fits better all the way around.
I started ripping some boards down last night for them. Either way they definitely need something to climb on and I need to get them done before the weekend.

Damn, that's a pretty clean looking garden Jesse! Nice weeding! Thought I had my daughter doing some weeding while we were in Ohio for a baseball tourney. Guess the skeeters ran her off though LOL! Still on the to-do list for this weekend now
The wildlife feeding is going well with the corn at the property lol.. But not all is lost, those that didn't get touched are already waist high. I had no idea if anything would grow so its promising for future years once its in.
Put in the last round of seedlings there too - couple more big tomato variety, couple watermelon, and a lot of both of the cherry tomato varieties we got. Those cherries were pretty small and the weather is not looking good for transplants the next week.....hot and dry. Gonna let em ride for a week and see what sticks.
Last but not least at the lroperty I repurposed a section of the boys old swingset like a true hillbilky. Put in some cucumbers to let em climb. It was just too perfect to pass up.....wife wasn't amused lol.

Will be interesting to see if the corn will keep up. I don't suspect it will given the lack of sun. The rabbits are enjoying them too.
