Maters are hammer down right now. Lots of perfectly timed short storms the last 2 weeks has put them into overdrive. I'll have 5 gallons worth in weeks time.

I like Sgt's maters better lol!

The deer and coon feeding continues at both locations lol. They cleared out planting 1 at home this past weekend while we were gone. I cut them all and opened it up for the watermelons to spread out. Cucs, peppers and maters are doing well, agreed on those rains storms the last 2 weeks!

Beans getting tall, just no beans yet[emoji2955]. Tomatoes are almost all green yet, but did make for some awesome fried green maters this past weekend. And the ocra, well, still waiting. Lol. Slow progress this year it seems.

Little dark when I remembered to take pics. Wife has some cherry tomatoes, parsley, and other stuff in small planters on the patio as well.

Cucumber and zucchini is killing it right now. Peppers looking great. Tomato plants loaded but not turning red yet. We even have a big watermelon growing. We never seem to get any good ones.

Cucumbers are full tilt, harvesting 3-4 day. Watermelons and peppers are just starting. Will be interesting to see if the coons leave the 2nd planting of corn alone with the watermelons spread throughout. Can only hope they are like deer and don't like touching the leaves but not getting my hopes up.

Companion planting is working great, wish I would have started it in prior years, but know I'll use moving forward:

Started pinching the tops of the maters so they don't overgrow the cages too much and can start shifting energy to ripen n grow more.

Very thankful for the growing season this year, especially after last. Keep it coming for everyone mother nature!

Trying to arrange a pick up of a big canning pot today off of marketplace. Man these people who are selling stuff sure act like they don't want to sell. Been chatting since 9 am and told the lady I wanted it and whether it was OK to pick up after 5. Now she tells me yes.... it's still available do you want me to hold it for you?! Finally just got the address, just no confirmation on time still.
