Great story and great ending! I really love reading these hunting stories and seeing the pictures and reading the details leading up to these great bucks going down. Congratulations Drake! I felt like I was there with ya! One of the best feelings in the world is TOO experience the recovery of a real good buck with your hunting buddies and tossing a few back after you get him home.

Same questions I've been asking myself! Just started a new job that is consuming a TON of my free time with training/studying/work etc. My goal this year is to get a couple does on the ground, and hunt smart and as much as I can without sacrificing work performance, and see what that brings.
If I dry tag this year and still feel like I spent as much time as I could given the circumstance, I will be able to settle with it.
